ACCESSORIES | My Paper Bag

Meet my schoolbag, groceries bag, shopping bag and even my clutch for a night out. I use this thing almost every day. A dutch piece of design by Ramon Middelkoop called My Paper Bag.

It is produced by the fairtrade guidelines and made out of environmentally friendly fabricated leather. I love to roll it up like a paper lunchbag, fold it in half and carry it under my arm when it's empty and drag around my 6 kilo weighing burdon of books and laptop for school in it.

And in case you were wondering.. no I didn't get payed to write this, it just really a great product. Order my paper bag here! (they do ship internationally if you contact them by email)

Were is your nailpolish, your ring and your lipstick from? Buy the way: It's a very nice bag and blog you have ;)

environmental-friendly fabricated leather?
i'm sorry, but it doesn't exist.

@ mari
yes it does! because normally it is a very chemical process to get the leather in an even color and to get it soft and supple. When you buy these bags they are rough and the leather is almost raw. After a few weeks of using them the leather becomes soft on itself.

It looks like a great bag! I would love a tote like that--if only I didn't have so many books to take to school. I've learned to forego leather bags for cheaper canvas alternative until I start leading a life of fewer 1,500 page text books!

Ik twijfel al heel lang, maar ik zie het nu bij jou en ik ga ervoor. Maar niks vervangt een simpele tote bag:-)!

I just did a D.I.Y post because I was inspired by a bag like this. I love the concept and even thought of making my own large version.

@ anonymous
I got the nailpolish from a very random cheap local store. I wish I could tell you a brand name that has such bright neon nailpolishes that would be available easily for everyone but I don't know. But maybe it's a good mission to find out! stay tuned!

I live here in Utrecht so I would really like the name of that store, and maybe the adress?

it's a great bag! One of the most unique ones I've ever seen, yet so simple... And definitely very practical! Just way too expensive for me. Damn.
