INTERIOR | My Side Of The Bed

Photobucket

Photobucket

All the stuff in this picture: Lamp was a gift from a long time ago, vanilla scented candle Ikea, alarm clock Ikea, shoes Weekday, notebook, book My Dear Bomb by Yohji Yamamoto, silver ring Cos, gold ring hardware store, shoeboxes from Filippa K, Acne, Alexander Wang and Givenchy

I love giving stuff double functions. There used to be a pile of magazines on my side of the bed which served as literature and nightstand. But yesterday that dusty pile of pages had to make way for this new construction which serves as shoe storage and nightstand.

Nice decorating! This is also the reason I can't throw away my shoe and hat boxes.

I never keep my shoe boxes. For some reason it always feels too "look at what brands I own" to me but I do love that you have used them for something more useful. I use magazines as a type of stand for my bowl for letters etc. I really love your minimalist approach to interior design. <3

i like multi-tasking, double-functioning items, too.
it's good to be so resourceful. i had to get embrace that mode, living on a small island where stuff was insanely expensive, harder to source, and interior spaces were small.
one of my goals this year: switch to a low bed. a few at ikea look nice...

The nightstand made out of shoe boxes is so great. I need a nightstand, too, maybe this is the solution!

Absolutely love this idea. I'm about to move into a new flat and I've got absolutely no furniture to call me own... stacked shoe boxes are looking like a good option for a side table!

Love the shape of your lamp too. xx

Simple little construction very minimaslist - I think I prefer the pile of Mag in term of style but it's pretty cool.
