W E A R I N G / First Dress Of The Season

Photobucket

Photobucket

Dress: Topshop Unique
shoes: Nike Free
clutch: thrifted

Ironically, the first dress I've bought this season is one of the early arrivals for Fall/Winter. It isn't beach, flower, hippie or indian themed.. which is mostly the biggest problem I have with summer dresses. Instead it's a super basic frock with a Calvin Klein-ish cut; polo neck and exposed shoulders in white silk. Yay! So excited to still have found a perfect dress before the summer ended!

Looks perfect, like the trainers ;)
I agree, simple is best - I hate those flowery 'summer' dresses.

Gorge hair too xx

Haha, I hear you. T'was the season for stupid 'boho' dresses. Dit is echt een van m'n favorieten, waarschijnlijk doordat je sneakers bij het jurkje draagt<3

I don't really like it, I think something with short kimono sleeves would be much more flattering to your body shape. Still, you are gorgeous. www.moiminnie.blogspot.com

I just bought it last week, haven't had time to wear it though.

My biggest difficulty is finding out what kind of bra I should wear under... any ideas?

Thanks,

What a cool find. Cut-off hem adds interest and beautiful imperfection.
I don't often wear dresses, as hot as it is. I'd love to but the wind here is relentless. ;)

monika said...

I love the dress, I guess you cut off some inches of the skirt, to fit your height, and you're pulling it off even without sewing the ends :) Great idea, I'm really short, and some dresses are too long for me and I don't have a sewing machine, might try this idea ;)
