LIFE | Note To Self: Today Is Not Just Another Day

black pile: notebook, my fashionary (c/o), sketchbook
white pile: DIY anonymous books
left glass container: ittala
right glass container: thrift store

It is natural to get used to waking up every morning and having another day to spend.
And postponing the things you want to do, because you're so used of having tomorrows.
The reality is that our days are limited.
So I put up this little note to myself to remind me that today is not just another day.
(Please don't mind my irregular handwriting, I blame it on typing too much)

This is a wonderful idea! I am so going to put this on my picture board in my bedroom. If you'd like to see a picture, HERE is a link to a post regarding the interior design in my bedroom, I would be interested in your recommendations and remarks :-)

So sweet and true. I think I may take a page from your book and do something similar. It is so easy to take every new morning for granted and go through the motions. But who wants to live life treading water? We have to remember enjoy, to move forward, to make the most of it. Thank you!

sigh, your life is so colourless. all this minimalism crap is getting quite boring now, to be frank.

ik vind het mooi om te zien dat je altijd bij de essentie van iets terug komt. net zoals nu.

I feel I would get easily bored living in such ascetic, white interiors but I love visiting your blog nevertheless. You are truly one of a kind, your style is more like a philossophy, very consistent, showing not only in clothes but in everything you do or create, I suppose. And seeing older posts in blond hair and colourful clothes is interesting, I wonder if you ever go back to that ;)

That's a pretty awesome thing to do, and I think your handwriting is cool, looks good with this.

This is such a great idea. I can't think of a better person that should remind us this, than ourselves.

Indeed a really good reminder, I need this in my house but I'm scared I'd get use to it and ignore it. You're right about making the most of your day, I seriously need to stop procrastinating.

Love the black/white dynamic. Your handwriting doesn't look bad at all! Although whenever I go on summer holidays and don't handwrite for 3 months I'll admit it gets insanely messy.

I try to tell myself this everyday. I've got so used to staying in bed with nothing to do. I can't wait to get back to uni in September so I can feel like my life has a purpose
