W E A R I N G / What I'm Not Wearing

skirt, sweater and clutch: Selfmade
mesh dress: American Apparel

I wish I could say that I was wearing this.
But unfortunately winter hasn't ended, a fresh layer of snow is now falling as I'm typing this.
Can't wait for temperatures to go up a bit and being able to carelessly slip into some clothes and just walk out the front door without having to worry about adding 5 more layers, look for my other glove, a beanie, a scarf, an umbrella. Sick of winter, see those busted knees? I fell of my bike on a frozen street two weeks ago. Seriously thinking about spending next winter in a warmer climate. Spring, hurry up please!

Also done with cold (and also from Holland).
Skirts are my thing and winter gives them no chance (unless wearing really thick jersey legging which are not my thing).
Lovely outfit and thanks for sharing what u would wear :)

Couldn't agree more. My knees look just like yours, so done with the cold, wet and slippery weather type. This outfit is just so perfect with the combination of those textures. I'm searching for some neoprene fabrics as well, where did you get yours? Boeken Amsterdam?

I gave up biking for the rest of the winter after falling one too many times due to the ice... my knee is totally busted now. I hope you don't slip again!

Anyway, I'd love to know which fabric you used for that awesome sweater... is it neoprene? Can you make a DIY post for it? :)

Take care!

This is perfect! I can't believe this is all self-made. Amazing. Are the skirt and the sweater both neoprene?

This is so beautiful! I feel the same way about the heat :( It's hard to be minimal when you need to wear 10 layers just to leave the house..

this is super perfect! what fabric is the top, it looks like some kind of neoprene? x

Unknown said...

The combination between the mesh skirt and the leather skirt is awesome! but to be honest the oversized leather jacket is too much...you look smaller

Unknown said...

Love the self made pieces, is it made out of neoprene? I like it. For my last project I made a jumper with a similar bulky shape :) I also wish Spring would come sooner, I miss the days when it was 14-18 degrees outside, sighhh.....
