Shoes | Insane 1990's Platform Ankle Boots

Photobucket

Photobucket

Filippa K shirt worn as dress, vintage snakeskin briefcase, 1990s heels

Screw all those overprized heels that do not live up to their expectations in quality and whose designs are rip offs from what the big houses are making(yes I'm also talking to you Jeffrey Campbell). It is possible to walk on well made heels that are higher than the regular safe and mainstream height of seven to ten centimeters without breaking the bank. You can thank The Spice Girls among others for that; setting a trend of platform shoes 15 years ago(god I feel old). That footwear is now to be found in every single thrift store. I got this pair for €10 on the Queensday market and speaking about numbers, they increase my height with 14 centimeters.

These are insanely awesome.

Yes, I just recently bought heels with a heel that high.
And they are really comfy!
The best is that I´m really really tall when I wear them. ;-)

Ze staan je geweldig! Ik kan zulke schoenen totaal niet hebben..

Stiekem was ik ook eigenlijk vooral gericht op je blouse: heb je die al lang? Ik vind hem super!

Those are insane. Have you had bad experiences with Jeffrey Campbells? Oh and yes, your nails kind of steal the show, even with those crazy shoes on!

I can never find good 90's platforms when I'm thrifting but now my sense of hope is renewed!!! Very glad you brought up the Spice Girls reference! Haha! I remember going to see their ridiculous and terrible movie with my best friend the day it came out!

These shoes are fenomenal! I've been searching for something like this. Just with a smaller heel.
You really made these shoes look their best! - just like You make each and everything you wear insanely beautiful.

I've noticed your many, colourfull and most of all stunning nailpolishes lately. Especially this one, the matte, lightblu one you posted with the eBay-rings, and the orange one you posted with your incredible goldring and your brown 'roll-up' bag. Where can i find look-alikes?

Way better than any JC!

Weird. My friend posted this photo on my facebook and asked if I knew where she could purchase them. They are completely amazing, and most of the 90s shoes that I find at thrift stores do NOT look this good/modern/wearable... really good find, and they look great with your outfit.
