OUTFITS | Head To Toe In (Almost) Whites

Photobucket

Photobucket

While cleaning my closet today I almost threw out this pair of H&M jeans because the washing just seemed too wrong; a fake kind of acid wash and a light blue hue. But before I did, I decided to try them on one last time. Turns out that I quite like this almost trashy acid wash and I forgot how well they fit. I wore them with this vintage Cacharel silk shirt and Weekday python heels.

hope you dont mind me asking whether by throwing out clothes you mean throwing them actually out into the rubbish bin? if so, this doesnt go well with your fashion sustainability and i remember this article where you wrote how many kilos of clothes per person are thrown out in UK...

Yth said...

So intruiging to see how you make acid wash work like it's a crucial factor for minimalism. I think it's perfectly combined with the silky blouse because it makes the whole outfit more elegant & soft.

LOVE AESTHETICS said...

At Alcohols: No offcourse throwing them out to donate. I recycle everything and separate all my trash. Even a peanut butter jar doesn't end up in bin but the lid goes to the plastic recycling and the jar to the glass recycling. :)

aaah ok :) you know it just looked weird written like that. I just dont get it when people throw away clothes.

Such a good, minimalistic outfit, and the shoes are like a cherry on the top. :) I wish I was a little shorter so I can wear shoes with heels.

I love EVERYTHING about this outfit. The hair, the colour of the lips, the different shades of white and it looks like you've done something more with your eyes this time. Darkened it a little, I think.

Either way, this is my most favourite look of yours. Simple and chic.

Always a fan!

Trang said...

the shades of white are going so well with your ''fanstasy hair''. i wish i could have that haircolor too, but i think it just fits to bright teint, doesnt it?

gossh girl , you look AWESOME! loved this outfit on you, as well as this acid jeans. I guess it's the first time I see you ''smiling'' at fashion photos, and it turned out sparkly .)

The wash could be really bad, but they look great, especially with the blouse. I'd never have thought of combining silk with acid wash, actually.

I like the trraashy whashing! It think because of the purple glow in your hair all cloths your wear insteadly become non trashy.

I am totally for recycling! I try to eat less meat, or otherwise - biologisch -, buy less clothes, separated my waste. It is a disappointment that I see a lot of -new buys- on fashion blogs:(. But hey I can't force my way of living to people, I wish ;-)

Ivania thank you so much for visiting my blog. The book with the blackened out sentences was just an old one I had lying around the house- you can do it with just about any piece of text. I think it's more fun if you use something you don't know the context of- the results are so much more interesting and rewarding!

Imagine how valuable this one strategy could be to you. Public health expenditure, like any public expenditure is increasingly being subject to close examination, of often taking the form of'line-by-line' reviews of expenditure to eliminate any spending which is not a high priority.
