LIFE | Working Space

Photobucket
left image taken last year, right image taken today
agenda, sketchbook, Elle collections, Iittala glass containers, lookbooks, drawing of a pair of sick boots by Lois

Let me introduce you to my first desk, I got it when I was about 6 years old. It has been my place for doing homework, drawing, spending late nights finishing assignments for nearly 17 years. Lot's of coffees (and nailpolishes) have been spilled on it, and you can tell. Though since a few months I've been working from a table that's more than double its size, I'll never get rid of this little wooden one. And speaking of old things, I've decided to wash out all the color out of my hair and go back to grey like last spring.

I'm using the same desk I've had since I was little, too! I liked the gray, it was almost a blonde color but with a little twist :)

i miss my grey hair :( i had it for about 3 years, i loved it all the way just until that bitch of a hairdresser (of course not that one i would usually go to) made about 50% of my top hair snap at 2 cm length by using too strong bleach -.- this was 9 months ago and i am still struggling to get my hair to full length again. ARGGGH.

I love the colour of your hair in this photo... what toner/ hair dye do you use to get the grey colour apart from bleaching it really light . My hair is grey but the toner i use never lasts and is ever changing, your hair is ideal colour
Thanks Meghan

That is so cute, I still have my vanity table from when I was about 5 and I keep meaning to get a new one because it's probably a bit too small for me now, but I just can't!

This post makes me reconsider throwing away my old desk. The fact that everything in your home seems super minimalistic & cool gives me an ambivalence feeling, you know. I love it, but WHY CAN'T I ALWAYS LOOK LIKE YOU.

a great mind needs a great working space! and you gray hair looked beautiful. I really liked the write-up on that post as well. When I first started blogging I felt like I had to be like all the other bloggers that are just chasing different trends every season or I won’t be successful. Now I know, that was not true. True beauty and style is timeless.

Grey can be nice but in your case it REALLY washes you out as a person. Don't do it.
especially when you wear that neon/ super light lipstick.

I think your hair looked great when it was grey, so I'm sure it will look great when you revert to it. Btw, such a cute story about your desk.

Hi Ivania!
Your hair is looking really amazing these days!
I saw a while back that you were trying to preserve it's health. I also dye my hair grey/purple and am now going through the same phase- trying to refrain from bleach and dye!

Anyway, just wanted to say, great job! :)

I precisely had to say thanks all over again. I am not sure the things I would have made to happen in the absence of the opinions discussed by you concerning such a question. It was an absolute hard dilemma in my circumstances, however , spending time with a new specialised form you processed the issue made me to cry over happiness. I will be happier for the guidance and thus believe you comprehend what a great job that you are putting in instructing others thru a blog. I’m certain you’ve never met any of us.
