OUTFITS | First Shorts Of The Season

Photobucket

Photobucket

silk mens tee: Filippa K
shorts: vintage Adidas
clutch: vintage
nails: Nail Rock metallic foil

Today my legs got to see sunlight for the first time this year, which they desperately needed! I love finding vintage and secondhand items that still look modern and aren't retro in an obvious way. Like these shorts that I thrifted a couple of weeks ago are at least 22 years old; the label inside still says 'made is West-Germany'.

I admire you for the ability to make literally everything work within your own style, items others would never think of (like these track shorts) & your knowledge of fashion. I don't know a lot of people who would care about/understand a garment's origin.

awesome as always! Ivania can you make a post about your favourite blogs? I mean not fashion blogs but also about interior, art and aesthetics like "things organised neatly". It become one of my favourites. It would be great.

I think this shorts are the first one i don't really like. I do love vintage adidas but... yes there is a but ;) for me (maybe just for me) regular black shorts would be better.

Working that 'sporty' look so well here. When I was in high school, there was this french exchange student that often wore a pretty old adidas jacket, with the original logo, I always thought it looked so awesome.

p.s.
the shorts are definitely vintage judging by the label ;) I agree with you about them not being obviously vintage. I actually think one can make "obviously vintage" items look very chic and modern as well. With maybe just a few minor alterations and by adding modern accessories. Anyway, love your blog!
