OUTFITS | Wearing the DIY Shirt-Skirt

Photobucket

Photobucket

sweater: secondhand turned inside out
skirt: DIY
necklace: Nelly
bracelet: secondhand
lipstick: Airborne Unicorn by Limecrime

Have you ever noticed how fluffy the inside of a sweatshirt is? Today I turned this lightgrey one inside out to expose its white, soft other side. I wish I could say that this is what I'm wearing today. But the reality is that the weather is too cold and rainy. So just for the pictures I switched my DIY poptrash jeans for the shirt-skirt I made last week.

Update on the DIY: After having being able to really 'test' the skirt by wearing it, I realized something pretty obvious; a regular cotton shirt wrinkles. I would advise either using one in a smoother more flowy fabric, or a thicker one like denim.

Absolutely love the all-white outfit! And I was curious to see that the shirt skirt would look like on, and this has definitely convinced me to make my own!

Heel mooi. Either way looks lovely.

Prachtige outfit!

that jumper looks heavenly soft, I didn't even notice it being inside out!

It is genial to see how you transform things, I really like your minimalist style. You really make me want to try and sew eventhough I am not good at it.

Great combination with the skirt and the shirt, I also like the small gold details you included, they are very discret and yet they add something unique to your outfit.

I rather like wrinkles, but that's me.
Loving this ensemble on you, and the fact that you turned the sweatshirt inside out...and that you always see the possibilities in a garment - a sign of true style.
