A happy New year to everybody!
I absolutely love New Year’s Eve and standing still for a minute to look at the future and think about your dreams. (And of course have some oliebollen and champagne while at it!)
It’s an imaginary clean slate; tomorrow will be a day to put all your ideas into practice and be ambitious.

I love this blog, the looks are inspirational and your drive and aesthetic sensibilities are admirable. However one of my New Years resolutions is to give up blogs like this that often bring out the green eyed monster in me. I enjoy reading blogs by people I admire but it always makes me feel like my life could just isn't glamorous enough or that I am not successful in my job/life/career. So goodbye Love Aesthetics, all the best in 2013.

Oh no! So sorry to hear that those feelings are evoked to you by blogs :( My aim has always been to make Love Aesthetics an inspiring place, with lots of DIYS and things that you can apply to your own life, as opposed to only showcasing my newest buys.
My life is in no way perfect or glamorous!
A lot of times I do fail, a DIY project goes wrong, the weather does't cooperate with shooting an outfit post, getting back and headaches because I'm spending late nights behind the computer answering emails, etc, etc. But you just don't see that on the blog
When I started reading blogs I loved it because they are real and unlike magazines, full of flaws, anecdotes of daily life, different body shapes, vintage vs. designer vs. DIY
Really hope you can see the positive side of blogs!
