DIY | Not Too Late To Find The Perfect Gift

Photobucket

Leather Envelope / Two Tone Shirt / Jewelry from the hardware store

A piece of leather and a bit of glue is all it takes to make a leather envelope. You could also give your bestie the other half of your shirt. Or you could run down to the hardware store to find a jewelry gift that is actually unexpected.

If I had any skill in sewing, I'd definitely do the shirt option. It'll be a very special gift, I think.

I'm sorry, but the leather bags truly looks like an arts and crafts project. Never underestimate the importance of proper finishing.

I agree with you anonymous. Finishing and details are everything. DIY is something that lies very close to arts and crafts... I mean if you take it a few steps further it would turn into an actual product. Hopefully my glued envelope inspires someone with more patience and time on their hands to do a better job and use a sewing machine :)

I think your diy's are absolutely great, so nice ideas ! I've seen/heard of people using hardware stores for fashion purposes, but those bulbs or something looked like real rings ! :)
